Background

David Ray Carver is an attorney and an accountant. For more than 25 years he has concentrated his practice in the areas of estate planning and business planning. He is a member in the law firm of Carver, Russell & West, L.L.C., which has law offices located in both Salt Lake City and Layton, Utah. Mr. Carver graduated from Brigham Young University in 1981 with a B.S. in accounting. In 1984 he obtained his law degree from the University of Utah. He is a member of the Estate Planning Section and the Elder Law Section                                                                         of the Utah State Bar Association.

For over 25 years Mr. Carver has been a frequent guest speaker on how to make sure your estate planning is properly coordinated with your insurance planning, tax planning, and investment planning. He has also given seminars on asset protection techniques including on how legally to protect assets from creditors and on how to meet Medicaid eligibility rules.

Mr. Carver has participated in seminars throughout Utah as well as in California, Arizona, Idaho, Wyoming, and Colorado.
