Background

Steven C. Russell received his doctorate in law from Brigham Young University in 1992. He has 20 years of experience in the area of family law and criminal defense. He is married and the father of 8 children. He has served on the Utah State Office of Child Welfare and Parental Defense and on the Board of Scholars at the Sutherland                                                                                                                  Institute. He has lobbied for changes in the                                                                                                  law at the federal and state level, helping                                                                                                        to  strengthen the family and the rights of                                                                                                      parents.                                                                                                                                                                                Mr. Russell is also fluent in Spanish.
